The interior of each of our nine accommodations is comfortably appointed with air-conditioning, local hardwoods, tile floors, fine linens and a calming color palette to welcome you at the end of your adventure each day.
Each unit features a king or queen bed or two double beds, handcrafted for Tranquilo Bay from local hardwoods with an orthopedic mattress. Each spacious bathroom includes a large walk-in shower with hot water.
A covered porch with a hammock and Adirondack chairs awaits to help you escape the "every day" that you left behind when you enter the grounds at Tranquilo Bay.

Wrap around elevated porches on the main lodge building provide outstanding eye-level views of all the magic where the ocean and mangrove forest meet the rainforest. Whether you’re just looking for wildlife, or you’re into photography, being immersed in the canopy will amaze you.
Our upstairs balcony is the perfect place to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee and the moon rise in the evening with a cold beverage. The monkeys and birds travel through on their feeding migration throughout the day. The interior of the main lodge building includes the dining room and the bar.
Fresh Handcrafted Meals
MEALS
Meals at Tranquilo Bay are included with your stay. Breakfast offerings may include a continental buffet, your choice of eggs and a special breakfast item each day. Lunch will be packed for those guests whose excursions take them away from the lodge. For those on site, lunch is a typical Panamanian dish, soup, salad or sandwich and homemade cookies. Appetizers are provided during the cocktail hour preceding dinner. Dinners vary based upon the local ingredients available; however you should expect three or four delicious courses. Each night we end with a little something sweet to close the day.
BEVERAGES
Fresh-squeezed juices, refreshing rainwater, sodas, Panamanian coffee, a selection of teas, Panamanian beer, house South American wine, and Panamanian rum are included with your stay. We stock a number of spirits in the bar. The staff make a mean sun drop margarita, frothy pina colada, and a number of other delicious drinks upon request. We send rainwater in reusable stainless steel water bottles with each of our excursions as well as a selection of sodas and beers.
